Alexandra-Maria-Lara
Alexandra Maria Lara is a Romanian German film and TV actress famous for her performance in films such as Downfall Youth Without Youth Control and Rush. As the only children to Romanian actress Valentin Platareanu Alexandra stepped into the showbiz world early and was acting in lead roles on various television dramas by the time she was sixteen. In the Oscar nominated film Downfall the role she played as Adolf Hitler's Secretary Traudljunge was also a critically-acclaimed one. The Reader as well as Der Baader Meinhof Komplex were also nominated for Oscars. Alexandra's work has led her to work on a number of important national and international projects. Among others, these projects include the British Biographical Film Control Greek Drama film The Dust of Time French Historical Miniseries Napoleon and many others. In addition, she has been an adjudicator at the Transylvania International Film Festival as in the Cannes Film Festival.
