Alexandra Maria Lara, a Romanian and German actor who is employed on TV and in films is well known for movies like Rush and Downfall Youth Without Youth Control. Alexandra was the only child of Romanian actor Valentin Platareu. at the age of sixteen, she had landed several television roles, which included the leading role in the Downfall film Youth Without Youth Control. The audience was impressed by her performance on Der Tunnel. This paved for her to play other memorable parts, such as Adolf Hitler's secretariat Traudl Junge. The Reader as well as Der Baader Meinhof Komplex were also nominated for Oscars. Alexandra is well-known for her participation in a variety of notable projects, both in the United States and internationally. These comprise British biographical films like Control and The Dust of Time as well as French historical miniseries Napoleon. Additionally, she was part of both The Cannes Film Festival jury and Transylvania International Film Festival.
